Holiday trip to Ameland and Borkum

On these Dutch and German Wadden Islands we spent some wonderful windy days. Lovely dunes, especially on Borkum, the mudflats, serving as feeding and meeting area for many birds, and, of course, the North Sea.

It really feels like being in a totally different world: a small, enchanting world. We enjoyed it tremendously.
