September 2000

Antwerp (Antwerpen) has many surprises: atmospheric plazas, small
courtyards – everything set in a medieval scenery. We strolled
through alleys, passed churches, monumental facades, fantastic
shops, cosy pubs, modern and ugly buildings… a fascinating city!
It was unavoidable: a visit to the
zoo. But it was very special, not in the least because of an
exhibition of sculptures made entirely out of natural products,
flowers and plants. We made some pictures, of course. Click below to
look at them.
