Some say that the Dutch learn how to ride a bike before they can walk.

Although this may be a bit exaggerated, it’s safe to say that the bicycle is the most widely used means of transportation in the Netherlands. Where-ever you go you’ll see cyclists, either zigzagging amongst cars and walkers, or riding on cycle paths.
