Duivelsberg

Devil’s Mountain (Nature reserve near

Beek-Ubbergen and Berg en Dal) is mainly

covered with deciduous trees, like sweet

chestnuts. A walk in this area is full of surprises:

there are differences in altitude, fields, and

pastures. And in the centre lies a stronghold

from the early middle-ages – called Mergelp
