The
Overasseltse and Hatertse
fen area is close to the city area of Dukenburg (Nijmegen).
It’s part of the communities of Wijchen and Heumen. The area
consists of sand deposits, covered
with pine trees. Between the sand dunes are small and large fens,
heath areas, pastures, and farms. |
